In July 2025, the Sydney Adventist Youth Department will be taking a group of youth and young adults to Africa (Zambia) for a 2-week mission trip. This trip will be in collaboration with the Riverside Farm Institute, which is a supporting ministry working in cooperation with the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Volunteers will assist the local mission in a building project and a ministry at the Riverside School. This will be a wonderful opportunity to serve alongside other youth in Sydney while making a big impact on the lives of those we will be Serving.

This mission trip has a capacity of 25 participants.

This trip is intended for young people aged 16yrs +. Anyone under 16 yrs will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Location: Zambia, Africa

Cost: 

  • Trip package = $2500 (Excludes flights – flights will be purchased by you/individual traveller)

  • Includes – Accommodation, Food, Transport while in Zambia, Travel insurance, Activities, and all extras. Flights and personal spending money are the only cost outside this amount.

  • Deposit = $500 (due August 31st, 2024)

  • Final payment = $2000 (due March 31st, 2025)

  • Fundraising = $500 per person (due May 1st, 2025)
